About Our Client

This is a great opportunity for potential candidate who want to develop in long term career with hospitality industry in China. Our client is an industry pioneer in develop premium resorts, spa, yacht club and golf course in Asia Pacific. In view of the business expansion, they are now looking for a Area VP & General Manager to manage their resorts in Mainland China.

Job Description
  • Responsible for the management of the overall business operation to achieve the business objectives.
  • Maximize business revenues and yields by marketing and controlling operating cost.
  • Responsible for proposing and executing the business plan, annual budget.
  • Plan, develop and approve specific operational policies, programs, procedures and methods in accordance with general policies.
  • Provide leadership for direct reports (Division Heads and Department Heads)
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or above in Hotel Hospitality & Tourism Management.
  • Minimum 15 years solid international hotel work experience at GM capacity in China or other Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
  • Pre-opening experience and experience in resort hotel management preferably with exposure to resort, golf club & yacht club.
  • Able to demonstrate success in developing and managing business relationships with external partners, members, owners, peers.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop alliance partnerships.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Fluent in spoken Mandarin is mandatory.
