Our cleint is a well-known global retailer. In view of their business expansion in Asia Pacific, they are looking for a Food Technicaian & Quality Assurance Manager.

• Provide total quality assurance and control service to all markets, ensuring brand standards, European safety regulations and product specifications being met
• Manage 3rd parties to carry out full factory audit on potential suppliers in accordance with corporate policy
• Ensure implementation of brand quality system at every stage of product development
• Measure and monitor the technical KPIs
• Report to the department head, liaise with Country Buying Team and merchandising team on production and technical issue
• Work with suppliers to ensure that they fully understand the brand product specifications before production and to resolve any issues that may be involved

• Minimum of 6 years working experience in fresh fruit & vegetable category quality assurance of relevant products, in which 3 years are in managerial role
• A tertiary qualification in food science, agriculture, nutrition, technical or scientific discipline essential
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin
• Knowledge of both UK & EU food standards
• Experience in people management
• Familiar with ISO & SA compliance audit and preferably with qualified background an advantage
• Previous working experience in a large supermarket chain, government bodies and global fast food chain would be an added advantage
• This position require intensive travel
