Our client is a high end international jeans / fashion brand (designer brand). The European designer started his brand in the 70's and there are specialty stores in Europe, USA and Canada. The client is about to set up its Hong Kong based team for the challenge of speed of product development, on-time delivery, and business development with franchise / license partners in the Asia. 

• Newly set up office & new role 
• Opportunities in both apparel sourcing and business development

• Report to the President who works outside Hong Kong.
• Build up a strong and small team in Hong Kong, and work independently and proactively.
• Responsible for full merchandising activities, for offering innovative full collections.
• Assist the President on developing the franchise and license specialty shops business in the region.

• Holder of higher diploma or above qualification.
• Minimum 10 years experience in product development and sourcing of high-end fashion / lifestyles brand or jeanswear.
• Working experience in a leading retailer, wholesaler or licensee is required.
• Working experience with the principles or licensees of Guess Jeans, DKNY Jeans, Polo Jeans, D&G, Armani Exchange, or similar brands is highly preferred.
• Good language ability and communication skills.
• A leader, who can take charge of the operations and the business.
• Good business sense, ethic, fashion eye, and creativity mind.
