Our client is one the largest global retailer of apparel and household products with offices around the world. Due to recent business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead the houseware team in their Shenzhen office.

• Support product development team with the right suppliers to achieve the best results for the total company and in alignment with the global sourcing strategy
• Drive initiatives in department and develop best practices and process in line with the global sourcing strategy
• Implement sourcing processes to ensure product is placed on a timely basis with the right supplier / factory
• Support the supplier matrix
• Conduct new supplier assessments
• Ensure the performance of existing suppliers
• Develop a supplier matrix through segmenting and supplier tiers
• Develop cost component knowledge base and supports merchandising teams in cost negotiations
• Drive optimization of sourcing activities by identifying cost reduction opportunities, mitigating risk, and developing contingency plans

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred
• 10 years or above solid work experiences gained from overseas buying office or sourcing company with relevant products – houseware, small electrical home appliances, and storage items
• Currently holding a position of Senior Merchandising Manager or Divisional Manager handling an FOB volume that exceeds US$ 40 million
• Able to supervise a big team of over 10
• Currently handling the USA market
• Domestic and International travel required
• High power negotiation skills
• Excellent supplier and sourcing network with ability the to make professional assessment and judgement on suppliers’ capabilities and capacity
• Experience with working in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate
• Collaborative leadership Style with strong influencing and negotiating skill to make things done
• Self starter and passionate in driving excellence
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
